Garmin launched a new flagship smartwatch with a high price.
The Garmin Fenix 8 Pro costs up to 1,729 GBP for the top end model.
As the name suggests, it is a high-end version of the Fenix 8, which was published almost exactly a year ago.
The new version brings satellite and internet connectivity to the clock so that people can communicate with emergency services anywhere without needing a telephone.
The top -end model also brings a microlated display to the clock, which says Garmin. This technology makes it possible to be particularly bright and high -resolution, the company said.
According to a list, the Garmin website will be available from September 8th.
The new clock brings Garmins Inreach technology to the wrist for the first time. This enables users to access satellite networks in order to communicate with the world that can be used in remote areas that are not covered by the conventional mobile phone service.
The watch also has an LTE connection so that you can connect to the same networks used by telephones. This was first introduced with the Forerunner 945 in 2021, and Garmin has added sporadically to other watches – including the previous Fenix 7 Pro.
Garmins Fenix watches are said to be the flagship outdoors in its line-up and be equipped with all the top functions of the company. However, they are not the most expensive watches in the company – the Marq series of luxury models, for example, can cost up to £ 2,799.
